This project will include replacement of the existing rotating airport beacon. The new rotating airport beacon is proposed to be a LED, Type A (medium intensity) unit reconstructed on an FAA approved tip-down pole. The new beacon and pole will be reinstalled at the same location and height as the existing beacon which is located adjacent to the airfield lighting power and control vault building. This project will include replacement of the existing General Aviation Airport Terminal Building. The new building will be constructed in the same location as the existing General Aviation Airport Terminal Building. The existing Terminal Building was built in the 1960’s and is well beyond its useful life, run-down, in ADA and other general public-use building non-compliant condition and, in need of other interior and exterior improvements such as a reliable and efficient HVAC system, new roof, new windows and new doors. This project will demolish the existing building and construct utilities such as natural gas, municipal water, sanitary sewer, power, and telecommunication utilities to defined locations approximately 10-feet outside the proposed new terminal building. This project will also involve site preparation, grading, and drainage for the new building.

Approximately 3,500 CY of grading along the Runway Object Free Area within the extents of airport property and associated stormwater and erosion control. Tree removal offsite with avigation easements.

Earthwork, Grading, Paving, Electrical, and Marking for new Taxiway and Apron

Variable mill and overlay of P-401 asphalt, re-marking, grooving, light adjustments and shoulder grading.

Bid Package 1 is to construct the southern portion of a new Taxiway B. The project includes paving (P-401 asphalt) and grading; installation and replacement of portions of the storm drainage system; new electrical and lighting systems; and pavement markings.

Scope of project includes – Crack Repair of Runway 4-22, the North Apron, and the T-Hangar Taxilanes; Marking of the Existing Runway; Marking of the Connector Taxiways up to and including the Holding Positions

Scope of project includes – • Parking Lot and Box Hangar Site Grading • Paving of Parking Lot, Entrance Road, and Access Road to the Southeast Apron • Installation of Storm Drain • Installation of Utilities – Water and Sanitary Sewer Infrastructure • Installation of Electrical Conduit and Junction Boxes • Marking of Parking Lot

The Rehabilitate Runway 4-22 project will include the pavement and lighting rehabilitation of the entirety of Runway 4-22. Services for this project include the earthwork, grading, pavement removal, paving, conduit placement, lighting installation, and marking.

The scope of the project includes construction of a 10-foot-tall wildlife exclusion fence surrounding the perimeter of the airport. Major work elements include fence line clearing and grubbing, fence construction through wetland areas*, demolition of existing 4’ farm and chain link fence, construction of a, 10-foot-tall, chain link wildlife exclusion fence with top and bottom rail and barbed-wire top. The fence is to include angle buried fence fabric beneath the fence line, buried approximately 2-feet deep and angled outward from the fence line by approximately 4-feet. This project also includes the construction of double-leaf swing gates at intervals along the perimeter of the fence and two cantilever sliding or pivot gates with electric gate operators within the terminal area of the perimeter fence line.<br><br> *A FAA Environmental Assessment FONSI is completed for this project that allows wildlife exclusion fence construction within the wetland and wooded areas of the fence line shown on the as-bid plans and specifications.

The proposed project includes the new construction of a Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) taxilane and the associated site work (grading & drainage). This project also includes the construction of a box hangar (foundation and building structure) for future aircraft parking. The proposed concrete taxilane will provide paved access to the proposed hangar.
