Danville, PA - Mitigate Obstructions (Install Runway 27 PAPI) 22040

The project generally includes these elements ▪ Base Bid: Installation of Runway 27 PAPI system; modification of electrical panel and equipment in Hangar 3; installation of an outdoor electrical enclosure and transformer; relocation of existing Runway 27 threshold lights to the end of the pavement. ▪ Bid Additive 1: Replacement of existing runway edge lights with new base mounted lights using existing fixtures; replacement of existing Runway 09 threshold lights; replacement of existing stake mounted taxiway edge and entrance lights with base mounted taxiway edge lights using existing fixtures. Any damaged fixtures will be replaced with new fixtures. ▪ Bid Additive 2: Replacement of existing taxiway turn-around reflectors with new base mounted taxiway edge lights. ▪ Bid Additive 3: Replacement of existing taxiway reflectors along taxiway to terminal/hangar area with new edge reflectors. ▪ Bid Additive 4: Replacement of existing taxiway turn-around reflectors with new edge reflectors. ▪ Bid Additive 5: Crack repair of the runway pavement and the remarking of airfield markings.

Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or a bid bond in the amount of not less than five (5) percent of the total amount bid. A Contract Performance Bond and a Contract Payment Bond each equal to 100 percent of the Contract Price will be required for the successful Contractor.

No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 calendar days after the date of receiving bids, except that bids for any bidder who Consents to Extend Bid Award Date may, at the request of the Northumberland/Montour Joint Airport Authority, be held for consideration for such longer period as may be agreed to, but in no event exceeding 150 calendar days.
